The Journal of Sciences and Technology (J Sc Tech.) is an international peer-reviewed scholarly Open Access journal published by the faculty of sciences and technology from the University of Tamanrasset (Algeria).
The Journal is published biannual in English (encouraged), and arabic. Acceptable contributions include original research articles, case report, review article, and short communication. All contributions will be peer-reviewed according to appropriate criteria. It covers a wide range of academic disciplines, mainly:
- Sciences of matter (advanced materials, smart material, Electronic and Magnetic Materials, Semi conductors and Superconductors, Nanomaterials, Piezoelectric Materials, Computational materials…)
- Engineering sciences (Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Management, and Geotechnical)
- Life sciences (living organisms, including biology, botany, zoology, microbiology, physiology, biochemistry).
and it contributes to the progress and application of science by publishing scientific information which enable advancement in scientific research. All articles published by J Sc Tech.. are made freely and permanently accessible online immediately upon publication, which allows an immediate, world-wide, barrier-free, open access to the full text of research papers, which is in the best interests of the scientific community.
Peer review process
Manuscripts should be submitted via Email for manuscript preparation, acording to the Authors Guidelines The manuscript should be accompanied by a Cover letter signed by the corresponding author. The Cover Letter, dated and signed in blue ink, should be submitted as a supplementary file during submission process of the manuscript (in pdf format).
The Editor-in-Chief makes an initial appraisal of each manuscript. The manuscript is assigned to a section editor who oversees the review process. Once the review process has been completed, the section editor recommends acceptance, revision, or rejection of the manuscript. The final decision is made by the Editor-in-Chief. A decision on the manuscript generally may be expected within 3 to 4 months of submission; delays in obtaining reviews may prolong this process. Manuscripts are sent out for review electronically, and all correspondence takes place via e-mail. After acceptance notification, the corresponding author should remit the final format of the accepted manuscript within three working days after the acceptance notification.
